  • The hypocrisy of the banks is past remarkable....I am genuinely surprised that there hasn't been some sort of revolt over these disgusting bonuses. Nurses, Paramedics, Teachers etc, all do far more worthwhile vocational work than these social hyenas and yet will never see the sort of money in ten years that some of these contemptible vultures will get in one bonus payment. What an enlightened society we live in!

  • Another one to meditate on: the richest 10% in the UK have an average wealth of £850,000. The poorest 10% have an average of £8,800. So the richest ten percent are 100 times wealther than those in the bottom ten percent. That is a higher ratio than at any time in history previously.

  • The world seems up side down to me. We never even think of our inevitable death while we spend so much of our time and money just to protect us from provable illnesses! Isn't it down under!!
