The Scientific and Medical Network is a worldwide community of professional, student and academic individuals who are exploring alternative worldviews to those provided by conventional science and conventional religion. Membership of the Network provides opportunities for meeting likeminded individuals interested in science, philosophy, medicine and spirituality - it is a place for cultivating professional collaborations and friendships. It is transdisciplinary and so is a way to learn about different scientific disciplines and spiritual traditions to one's own.
As a member you may publish articles on this website, may join the online discussion groups and may submit articles to the Network Review, and so contribute to the dialogue and to the open exploration of new ideas and new paradigms for the 21st century.
Members receive a newsletter once a month, the Network Review three times a year and access to the Members Circle of the website. The Members Circle contains the 'SMN audio archive', which is a store of downloadable mp3 files of lectures given for the Network between 1976 and the present day. These include talks by David Bohm, Fritjof Capra, Charles Tart, Huston Smith and Ilya Prigogine, amongst others.
