Education Programmes
The Scientific and Medical Network is involved in education programmes that bring new or unorthodox ideas in science and spirituality, that are mostly ignored by the curriculum in schools and universities, to young people.
Current Educational Programmes run in association with the SMN:
Set up and run by David Lorimer, this programme brings a learning programme that fosters practical wisdom and life skills for school children.
SCHOOL SEMINARS ON THE SCIENCE OF CONSCIOUSNESS 
Seminars for A-Level students introducing them to the key issues behind the problem of consciousness and subjective experience.
HUMAN EXPERIENCE BEYOND THE FIVE SENSES
This new course is being offered to medical colleges and universities. It explores cross-cultural beliefs about the nature of human existence and the nature of reality, and provides an opportunity to debate current issues on spirituality and health.THE SMN SPEAKERS SERVICE FOR SCHOOLS
Providing speakers who teach science including a spiritual, ethical and moral viewpoint. The SMN is in a unique position to meet this demand for both teachers and pupils.
PREVIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAMMES
THE DIMENSIONS COURSE 
This is a short course that has run twice in Maida Vale, London, introducing a number of key new areas in science, healing and spritituality. It will be run again in 2009.
A yearly week-long residential course run for many years by the SMN. It provided a place for young people, to discuss and learn about alternative scientific and spiritual views about the human mind and the cosmos.
